- FAQsFor your convenience in shipping your cases to Helton Laboratory, we provide prepaid shipping materials for USPS priority mail delivery. We will generally ship completed cases to your office via USPS unless when requested otherwise. For special requests, please contact us and we will be happy to make arrangements to fit your needs. Lead Times Your deadlines are our deadlines, and we are committed to working with you to return your order promptly and efficiently. When submitting your order, please submit a due date that is one day prior to the actual appointment date. Although we publish no official lead times, we generally require three to five working days to complete a patient case. This does not include shipping times. Please contact us for rush order cases, which may be accepted with an appropriate additional delivery fee. Standard Hawley ball clasp retainer provides predictable, reliable, and long lasting maintenance post orthodontic treatment.
Invisible Retainers are now often the choice for patients concerned about the appearance of a metal appliance. Invisible retainers may align a maximum of two teeth per arch with up 1mm of movement per tooth. A custom series of Invisible Retainers may be fabricated to achieve progressive tooth movement without wires.
The Quad Helix is a multifunctional appliance that may be used to correct crossbites, expand posterior segments, or align crowded teeth. The Quad Helix appliance has many adjustment points that may be activated intraorally with a three-prong plier. The Quad Helix may commonly be fabricated as a removable appliance for extraoral adjusting.
The simplest form of a Quad Helix expansion appliance. The Expansion “W” may be used on either arch, maxillary or mandibular.
The transpalatal arch appliance maintains acquired expansion with a solid transpalatal bar. An omega loop may also be used for adjustment or molar rotation. Available as a permanent retainer or a removable appliance.
Lingual arch appliances are available in custom lengths, contours, and adaptations. They may include adjustment loops and may be removable from bands.
Rapid Palatal Expander appliances provide maximum sutural separation space of up to 13mm in a minimum period of wear. Each turn of the activator screw produces approximately .2mm of lateral expansion. Our standard design is two-banded, but a four-banded Rapid Palatal Expander appliance is also available.
